Welcome! I am a historian of the early modern world who studies the impact of the Reformation on travel and travel writing. In a broader sense, I’m interested in the material culture of travel and pilgrimage, asking how and why people collect things to remember their journeys.
I’m also an academic indexer and editor with a decade of experience working with major presses on a wide range of books in the humanities and social sciences. I am currently accepting commissions.
